'Tis the Season to Celebrate, Achievements Abound

  *   For the fourth consecutive year, Baruch President S. David Wu has been named to City & State's "2023 Power of Diversity: Asian 100<https://newscenter.baruch.cuny.edu/news/baruch-college-president-s-david-wu-named-city-state-2023-power-of-diversity-asian-100-list/>" list, which recognizes New York's most influential Asian Americans.
  *   Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Linda Essig announced the winners of the 2023 Presidential Excellence Awards for faculty<https://provost.baruch.cuny.edu/messages/provosts-newsletter-news-and-updates-from-the-division-of-academic-affairs-for-may-17-2023/>. They will be honored at Faculty Convocation 2023 on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Curricular Innovations Open New Horizons for Students

  *   Students with a major in the Zicklin School can now double major in a liberal arts or sciences concentration at the Weissman School. Known as the Weissman Concentration<https://blogs.baruch.cuny.edu/weissmanartsandsciences/?p=924>, this new multidisciplinary path is a perfect way for students to create tailor-made combinations for future careers.
  *   At its May 15 meeting, the CUNY Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation<https://provost.baruch.cuny.edu/messages/provosts-newsletter-news-and-updates-from-the-division-of-academic-affairs-for-may-17-2023/> at the Zicklin School. The new department will serve over 300 undergraduate majors and provide coursework for the entire community.
