About the event
You are invited to attend Ensuring Integrity: First Annual Auditing
Conference, presented by The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity
at Baruch College. The morning segment will provide a forum for
interaction between business and accounting executives and policy setters
from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and
the Public Companies Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Our keynote
luncheon speaker, Jean Wyer of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, will address the
shortage of academics in Auditing. The afternoon addresses two critical
issues confronting the auditing profession. Grant Thorton LLP will
moderate a session on the voluntary implementation of SOX 404 and Richard
Eisner LLP will explore issues in Auditing Information Technology.
