New Procedures for Accessing Campus: Health Screening App and Special Training for Faculty and Staff

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

As we cautiously begin to provide very limited access to the Baruch College campus, we have instituted new protocols for requesting and gaining access to onsite facilities.

Symptom Checker App

In coordination with CUNY, Baruch has implemented Everbridge, a new, mobile-friendly health screening app available for download from the Apple Store <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=UAZMK3Yabk-H7lIQVgJ_mQ&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> and Google Play <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=Roe3wJRh4k2tKYFOtSMPcA&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> . Current students, faculty, and staff have been preregistered for Everbridge. You will need to use your CUNYfirst login credentials to access the platform. CUNY has created an instructional guide <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=DvDQ9tYqXk2RpPNUAYVB9A&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> to help you set it up and use the app.

All students, faculty, and staff must complete the Symptom Checker in Everbridge every time they want to come to campus. This includes:

*	Students and faculty prior to every in-person class session
*	Essential workers prior to scheduled shifts
*	Students, faculty, and staff who want to visit campus for a single or periodic appointment or need

Please contact the BCTC Help Desk <mailto:[log in to unmask]> for assistance with any issues you encounter.

Once on campus, follow CUNY’s visitors’ guide <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=gfEsC8homUmVWG4MaC5_ew&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> for instructions on completing the Symptom Checker before entering any building.

Present Your Baruch ID

Students, faculty, and staff must also present their Baruch ID card to access our facilities. New students and recently hired faculty and staff can visit the ID Center <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=fQxM4XmXHkOM8kUKW_zPvw&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> on campus during the posted hours to obtain an ID.

For Faculty and Staff: Return-to-Work Training and Appointment Request Form

In addition, all faculty and staff who need to access campus facilities must complete the Covid-19 Response: Return-to-Work Training. This is a one-time training that must be completed by essential employees, faculty teaching classes onsite, and those who want to visit campus for a single or periodic appointment or need.

The training is available in CUNY Blackboard <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=eswDtRHK9kWo0cS8kgkOIA&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> under “My Organizations.” You must use your CUNY First credentials to login.

Faculty and staff are also required to request an appointment to visit campus using the following guidelines <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=Dz-yJuhr8ES1gs4PtiIgzg&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> and request form <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=KTA1vDwxd02cjTpQ3KUJwA&ref_id=k-sc_G4VgkqBfexlxvntEQ> . This is required for faculty and staff who need to make a rare visit to campus. However essential employees and faculty teaching onsite portions of hybrid classes do not need to complete the request form to be onsite at their scheduled times.

Continued Appreciation

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape that New York State, New York City, and CUNY are developing to keep our campus community safe during the ongoing pandemic.

Sincerely,

Katharine T. Cobb

Vice President of Administration and Finance
