The Lasting Impact of Baruch Alum and Longtime Professor, Abe Briloff

September 28th, Library Building Room 750

About the Program

Abe Briloff was one of Baruch College’s most distinguished alumni. A maverick in a profession known for its resistance to change, as a professor, writer and practitioner, Abe continually questioned the conventional wisdom on Wall Street and became “the conscience of the accounting profession.” The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity is pleased to welcome Abe’s former student and friend Charlie Dreifus for a discussion of how Abe fought to guarantee higher standards of transparency and ethical conduct in the financial and accounting industries. He will be joined by Chair of the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy, Dr. Donal Byard.
