April 5, 2024 All Clear: Buildings Safety Update in Response to Today’s Earthquake To Students, Faculty, and Staff, Today, April 5, around 10:23 am, New York City experienced a 4.8 magnitude earthquake. The epicenter was in Lebanon, NJ, and effects were reportedly felt as far as Philadelphia
and Boston. There have been no reports of injuries or impacts at Baruch. The College’s Office of Campus Facilities and Operations has checked all buildings, and they are deemed safe
and secure, with no damage detected. We will continue to assess any impact on the facilities. Classes and other activities will continue as scheduled. If you have any concerns about your safety, please contact Public Safety
