January 9, 2024 Due to Severe Weather: Baruch Will Be Remote Tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 10 To Baruch Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Baruch College is monitoring the severe weather system affecting our area starting this evening and lasting into tomorrow morning.
A flood watch and high wind warning are in effect city-wide from 6 pm tonight through tomorrow, and a coastal flood warning is in effect starting early tomorrow morning. The
NYC Emergency Management Department
has issued a travel advisory for that time.
In light of these conditions,
Baruch College will operate remotely tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 10. Classes will move online, and business operations will be remote.
Essential staff are expected to work on campus as scheduled.
A CUNY Alert will go out to community members who have opted into that service.
We recommend you register for CUNY Alerts
if you have not already done so. We will also post remote campus status to our main social media channels:
Thank you for your cooperation in monitoring upcoming announcements regarding Baruch’s status.
Sincerely,
Alaina Gilligo Vice President for Operations and Administration
