Baruch College Network Update  


Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, 

 

We appreciate your flexibility, patience, and understanding during Baruch College’s network outage. BCTC and other departments have been working around the clock, with the support of CUNY and experts in rapid response in these matters, to address and restore our systems and data as soon as possible.  

 

To date, we have seen no evidence that personal data has been extracted or compromised. We have made significant progress, having restored full access to the Baruch website and Baruch email for sending/receiving messages outside of the College. We have also installed new software to protect the network and have begun the process of restoring the campus servers.  

 

We will continue to provide updates on the situation.
