EXPO 2023 Showcases the Strength and Diversity of Undergraduate Work

More than 165 students from across the College contributed to over 80 research and artistic projects that were on display during Thursday’s Research & Creative Inquiry EXPO 2023. Held in the ARC’s main gymnasium, this annual showcase gives undergraduates an invaluable opportunity to broaden their scholarly, professional, and personal communication skills; take risks; and have fun. Vote in the first City-wide Participatory Budgeting Initiative to help expand such impactful programs as mental health services, career development, and community gardens. Baruch welcome U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand for her official announcement reintroducing the EATS Act. Present were Baruch President S. David Wu and many other leaders from CUNY, SUNY, and City Hall.

 

Baruch was thrilled to welcome U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand for her official announcement reintroducing the EATS Act, which would expand SNAP eligibility to qualifying college students nationwide. President S. David Wu kicked off last week’s event, which also included remarks by New York City Council Members Carlina Rivera, Eric Dinowitz, and Darlene Mealy as well as leaders from CUNY, SUNY, and City Hall.

The Baruch College Counseling Center offers free and confidential services. Through culturally responsive and trauma-informed counseling and psychological services, the Counseling Center assists students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
