- FAFSA: The Guide:
Understanding FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Save time, money, and stress.
- Apply for the Financial Aid You Deserve:
Starting Saturday, Oct. 1 students can file the 2023-24 FAFSA for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.
Obtain a
Federal Student Aid ID to sign electronically. If you are a dependent, one parent will need an ID to sign as well. Baruch’s Federal Code is 007273. The NYS TAP (NY residents only) code is 1409.

The Baruch College
Counseling Center offers free and confidential services. Through culturally responsive and trauma-informed counseling and psychological services, the Counseling Center assists students in achieving
their academic and personal goals.
- Individual Counseling:

to Self and Others meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2 pm on Zoom. To participate in the Tuesday group, email

- Black Mental Health Matters Support Sessions:
These sessions foster and support the growth, networking, collaboration, success, and well-being of Black students.

- Depression Screening Day:
Tuesday, Oct. 11, noon–2 pm.
Stop by the Counseling Center Depression Screening table on the Clivner=Field Plaza to complete a quick screening form and then meet briefly with a Counseling Center staff member.
