·         For the second consecutive year, President S. David Wu has been named to City & State’s “Higher Education Power 100” list, which honors New York’s most influential leaders in higher education.

·         In his latest blog post, “Kicking Off Our Institutional Strategic Planning Process: Part II,” President Wu shares insights, community feedback, and optimism for the future.

 

Top Rankings for Graduate Programs

The Zicklin and Marxe schools both earned strong national placements on U.S. News & World Report’s “2023 Best Graduate Schools” list, as well as #1 ranked programs among public institutions in New York City.

 

Faculty Accolades from the Marxe and Weissman Schools

  • Marxe Professor Don Waisanen received the Con Edison Social and Behavioral Research Award in support of his work to identify what prevents people from reporting gas leaks and what can be done to motivate them to take action.
  • Weissman Associate Professor Elizabeth M. Minei (Communication Studies) won the Sage Business Cases Editors Award for 2022 for her case study “The Policy Is Nice but Not Really Written for Us’: LGBTQ+ Workplace Challenges.”

·         Today Baruch begins its month-long celebration of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month. With the theme, “Empowering Community through Education,” Baruch’s APIDA celebration honors the accomplishments and contributions of the APIDA community and its history of resilience and perseverance. ·         Save the Date: On Thursday, May 26, Baruch is excited to return to Barclays Center to celebrate the Class of 2022 at an in-person Commencement Ceremony.

 

 

 

Stay Connected

With the Summer and Fall 2022 course registration period beginning on Monday, Apr. 4, BaruchOne posted a few tips to help students complete their degree in four years. The post resonated with audiences, collecting more than 35 likes.

The Baruch College Counseling Center is committed to supporting you. The center offers free and confidential individual and group counseling and support sessions.

  • Black Mental Health Matters (BMHM) Support Sessions: These sessions foster and support the growth, networking, collaboration, success, and well-being of Black students.
