Campus Status Updates: Sign Up for CUNY Alerts

To Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Baruch’s Emergency Management Team is committed to making, and proactively communicating, decisions about our campus status in a timely manner. We recognize that the College was delayed in doing so during the storm in early September, and we know this caused difficulties for many of you.

Be Informed: Sign Up for CUNY Alerts

If the decision is made to close campus or operate remotely—for all or part of a given day—we will share the information in the following ways:

• An announcement distributed to all Baruch email accounts
• Alert on the Baruch College homepage
• Posts to our main social media channels:
• facebook.com/baruchcollege
• twitter.com/baruchcollege
• instagram.com/baruch_college
• CUNY Alert message distributed to Baruch students, faculty, and staff who have opted into that service. We recommend you register for CUNY Alerts if you have not already done so.

While we are committed to providing timely updates, please be aware that it can be difficult to predict a storm’s trajectory or anticipate other circumstances that may cause an unexpected change in our campus status.
