Important Vaccine Guidance from the CUNY Chancellor and Safe Campus Protocols

Crucial vaccination deadlines are approaching: Read Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez’s message to students who are registered for in-person or hybrid courses. It lists key dates to initiate the vaccine protocol (last day to begin the two-dose Moderna treatment is today) and the critical deadline—Thursday, Sept. 23—to receive your final shot to upload your fully vaccinated status to CUNYfirst by Monday, Sept. 27. Welcome, Bearcats: Access to the Athletic & Recreation Complex (ARC)

Baruch’s ARC is open to student-athletes competing in the College’s NCAA Division III programs. Students taking Physical Education classes will also have access as well as students have rented a paid locker rental.

Resources from the Counseling Center

The Baruch College Counseling Center is here for the start of the Fall 2021 semester. The center offers free and confidential individual and group counseling and support sessions and Black Mental Health Matters (BMHM) support sessions.

  • Individual counseling: Please visit the Counseling Center’s website or email [log in to unmask]
  • Group counseling: The center offers two sessions of Relationship to Self and Others, which meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2 pm, on Zoom. To participate on Tuesday, email [log in to unmask]; to participate on Thursday, email [log in to unmask].
  • Black Mental Health Matters (BMHM) Support Sessions: The center offers sessions that foster and support the growth, networking, collaboration, success, and well-being of Black students. BMHM is led by psychologists Jael Amador, PhD, and Gary Dillon, PhD, who work from a social justice and multicultural framework. On Wednesdays, 2–3 pm, via Zoom. Crisis Text Line: Connect with Counselors 24/7
