 <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=945088iWfE2hl0QPi1GTAQ&ref_id=36nlrCjsek2CkEOIkor6JA>

On Jan. 28, more than 350 friends and champions of Baruch College joined a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony to recognize the completion of Phase 1a renovations of the historic Lawrence and Eris Field Building at 17 Lexington Avenue.

Over the course of four years with more than $100 million of support, the Field Building underwent a transformation resulting in a grand new glass-fronted, ADA-accessible entrance, upgraded elevators, and modernized infrastructure.

Among those in attendance were CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, President S. David Wu, and New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, who called for the need to invest in such projects as “a symbol of New York’s resiliency.” Take a virtual tour with President Wu <https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=XKz_8sy_MkS03-CQGYAB8w&ref_id=36nlrCjsek2CkEOIkor6JA> to see the amazing changes.
