November 19, 2020 Community Feedback Session #2 for the Provost Search Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, A couple weeks ago, I announced that Baruch College will initiate a national search for the next Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. I have appointed a search committee with diverse representation from across the College community. The committee is chaired by Arthur Downing, Vice President for Information Services and Dean of the Library. Executive search firm WittKieffer will assist in rendering a strong and diverse pool of candidates. I am committed to an open and transparent search process where community feedback will be broadly solicited. The search committee is hosting two community sessions in November to inform the search process and establish the criteria for provost candidates. The sessions are being facilitated by search committee chair Arthur Downing and senior consultants from WittKieffer. I urge you to participate in the session below and thank those who participated in the first session on November 17. Please plan to join this important discussion as your participation and support will greatly enhance the work of the search committee.
