Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Happy 2014! Let's kick off the new year with exciting demography seminars. Please save the dates! Note that there is a room change. Papers will be distributed as they become available.

Feb. 21, Emilio Zagheni, Queens College and Max Planck, "Using digital records to study international and internal migration patterns";
Mar. 21, Mark J. VanLandingham, Tulane University, "The Evolution and Limits of post-Disaster Resilience within an Immigrant Enclave: Vietnamese Americans in post-Katrina New Orleans";
May 16, Rachel E. Goldberg, Princeton University, "Smartphone Study of Teen Relationships: Anatomy of a Pilot".

Time: 1:00-2:30 pm
New Location: Room 3207, the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Ave on the northeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th St.

Prior to each seminar, we will meet at NOON to have lunch with the speaker at the CUNY Graduate Center cafeteria (8th floor). Everybody is welcome to join for the lunch and the seminar.

The Demography Seminars are part of the Health, Labor and Demography series sponsored by the CUNY Institute for Demographic Research (CIDR), Graduate Center Economics Department, and NBER. Please check the CIDR website for updates: http://www.cuny.edu/about/centers-and-institutes/cidr/seminar-series.html

Sincerely,
Na
