Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is organizing an NSF Day on October 22, 2013.

This one-day workshop is intended to assist new faculty and other research scientists and educators from the New York and the northeast region to learn more about the full scope of NSF supported research and education programs and priorities and to better understand the NSF grant proposal and merit review process. 

The anticipated concurrent breakout sessions include:
Biological Sciences
Computer & Information Science & Engineering
Education and Human Resources
Engineering
Geosciences 
Mathematical and Physical Sciences
Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences
