The Research Centre in Demography and Societies of the Catholic University of Louvain - Belgium (www.uclouvain.be/demo) informs you of the launch of the call for postdoc fellowships by the Academy Louvain (www.academielouvain.be). These fellowships - for a period of 12 to 24 months - are addressed to researchers who have not stayed or worked in Belgium more than 12 months over the last 3 years. The call is also open to people completing their PhD in the coming months.

The application for a postdoctoral fellowship needs to be supported by the research centre in which the applicant intends to work.  Interested candidates are invited to follow this procedure: 

- For Wednesday, August 14, 2013: send a CV (first three pages of the form available at http://www.uclouvain.be/en-461.html) and a preliminary project (1 page), preferably on one of the topics suggested below. - Wednesday, August 22: shortlisted candidates will be informed by the research centre. 

- August 22 to October 1: Preparation of the application, with the support of the research centre. 

- October 1, 2013: deadline for submission of applications by the Academy Louvain.

Le centre de recherche en démographie et sociétés (DEMO) de l'Université catholique de Louvain – Belgique (www.uclouvain.be/demo) vous informe du lancement de l'appel de bourses pour post-doctorants par l'Académie Louvain (www.academielouvain.be). Ces bourses - d'une durée de 12 à 24 mois - sont réservées à des personnes n'ayant pas résidé plus de 12 mois en Belgique au cours des 3 dernières années.
