There are several important items about Blackboard at CUNY that are included
in this message, please read closely:

COURSE AVAILABILITY:
Faculty must make their courses available by following:
CONTROL PANEL > COURSE OPTIONS > SETTINGS > COURSE AVAILABILITY.
Until this is set for yes, your students cannot access your course materials.

STUDENT ACCESS TO CUNY PORTAL PROBLEMS:
There are wide spread problems for users in accessing the CUNY portal and
consequently your course sites. CUNY is aware of the problems and is
working to resolve them. Most of these problems are related to
unregistered, forgotten or duplicate CUNY portal accounts. Users should
contact the Baruch College Helpdesk if they are having problems. Please be
aware that the resolution of these problems requires the availability of the
CUNY portal (which has not been readily accessible for account activation)
or intervention from CUNY support staff, which has been taking several days.

COURSE RECYCLE:
Faculty can now recycle their course content themselves by reviewing the
directions at
http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/bctc/blackboard/faculty/blackboard6/copycourse.htm
. For courses prior to Spring 2005, please contact Jim Russell at
