RE: Transportation Assistance for a Possible Transit Strike
DATE: December 19, 2005
Baruch College is making several links available for the Baruch community
seeking or wishing to provide rides into the college in the event of a
transit strike. If you choose to make use of any of these resources, please
refrain from giving out your home or personal cell phone or addresses on the
web site.
In addition to these sites, BCTC has provided a more secure discussion board
on Blackboard only available to members of the college community to assist
you in making car pool arrangements.
Baruch Blackboard (CUNY portal registration required -
http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/cunyportal/)
Once you have logged into Blackboard, go to the "Community" tab (located
under the Baruch College logo at the top of the page).
On the right side of the page, you will see a link for "Transit Strike
Rideshare". Look for the appropriate forum and either click on an existing
title or click on the button "Add New Thread" and type your message. Even
though this is a Baruch site, please refrain from posting personal
information and use your office extension instead.
