With sadness, this is to inform the campus that longtime professor of statistics
Pasquale J. Di Pillo, Ph.D passed away last Thursday, May 8, at the age of 68.  He
lived in Paterson, NJ.

Professor Di Pillo was born in Pacentro, Prov. Di Aquila, Italy and came to the United
States in 1938, where he first resided in Middle Village, NY before moving to
Paterson in 1946. He was a Professor of Statistics for Baruch College for many years
before retiring in 1995. Prior to that, he was an Industrial Engineer for Singer-
Kearfott for several years.

Survivors include:
A sister: Frances D. Kandravy of Mahwah, NJ
A brother: Peter J. Di Pillo of Succasunna, NJ
and a sister in law: Rose Marie Di Pillo of Windsor, CT.
He is also survived by 2 nieces, 4 nephews, a great niece and a great nephew.
