I write to let you know that Frederick Hammond has resigned from his
position as Vice President of Administration and Finance at Baruch
College; he has accepted a position as Senior Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of the YMCA of Greater New York. I know you
will join me in wishing him success in this new phase of his career.
Fred has served with distinction in his role here, bringing new levels of
professionalism and leadership, especially to the Vertical Campus
and college budget, and to the many other complex areas he
oversees. I am grateful for his contributions to the College, and wish
him all the best at the Y.

A search will be conducted promptly to fill this critical position, and I
will keep you abreast of decisions affecting this area.
