Exhibit: "Researchers' Raw Materials: Comic Books and Popular Culture in the
1940s"
The Newman Library is hosting an exhibit entitled "Researchers' Raw Materials:
Comic Books and Popular Culture in the 1940s" that was curated by Bert Hansen,
Baruch College Professor of History. As Professor Hansen demonstrates, ephemeral
materials such as comic books are a rich source of information about popular views
of medicine and medical discoveries. The exhibit will be in the Engelman Reading
Room through May 2005.
