Re:         Your August 22, 2002 Paycheck

If you believe that you are eligible for the contractual increases and/or
retroactive pay and it is not reflected in your August 22, 2002 paycheck,
or if you have a question, please call the Office of Human Resources, 212-
802 -2740, or complete the attached form and send it to Human Resources,
Box D-0202, or fax it to extension 212-802-2745.  The Human Resources staff
will take your name, social security number, title, department, and ask for
a brief description of the problem, e.g. you did not receive the
retroactive payment at all or, you received the 8/1/2001 increase but not
the 8/1/2000 salary increase. Every effort will be made to resolve these
discrepancies in a timely fashion.
