Dear Colleagues,

State Mediators have now announced that members of the Transit Worker’s
Union will begin returning to work, and the City’s bus and subway service
gradually restored; no timetable has been formally announced, but the
expectation is that strikers will return to work later today.

In accordance with our strike plan, all examinations originally scheduled
for Friday, December 23, will therefore be administered.  Exams scheduled
for 8:00 a.m. will begin instead at 9:30 a.m.  This information will also be
posted on the College’s website, and announced to students in an email.

Further guidance about how to appropriately accommodate students who have
difficulty making up in early January exams missed Tuesday, yesterday, or
today, as well as further instruction about submitting grades will be
forthcoming.
