It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Dr. Hank Wilson, on Sunday,
March 7th, 2004, former Dean of Students and Professor of Black and Hispanic
Studies. Dr. Wilson served as Dean of Students at Baruch and was an integral part
of the Black and Hispanic Studies Department.
In both capacities, his overriding concern was to place every student he came into
contact with in a course of graduate study. Towards this end, he interviewed each of
his students and kept a detailed file of their progress toward application, and
ultimate admission, to graduate school. His specialty was Law, but he also
succeeded in placing hundreds in MBA and Ph.D. programs around the country.
Hank came from a long line of legendary teachers in north central Florida, where he
retired after a long and successful career as a college administrator and professor.
Dr. Hank Wilson's services will be held:

Saturday, March 13, 2pm, Trenton, Florida

Hank will be reposed at the Duncan Brothers Funeral Home, 428 NW 8th St.,
Gainesville, Fl. 32601
352-376-2437

Cards may be sent to the Wilson Family:
PO Box 2105, Trenton, Fl., 32693
tel: 352-463-2470

Sorrowfully,
Arthur Lewin, Black and Hispanic Studies
