Attention all faculty & staff,

Over the past few weeks individuals purporting to represent either
the college's student social committee or the Office of Student Life
itself have gained access to the campus and have asked to speak to
classes to solicit sales for everything from comedy club tickets and
hair salon appointments to intersession cruises and trips. In some
cases the tickets have been legitimate, in other cases they have not
been.

None of these individuals have been authorized to solicit on campus!
They have gained access by asking to visit various academic or
administrative offices of the college. It is college policy to never
permit classroom solicitations for any program or project on campus
by either student organizations or outside vendors. When there are
authorized solicitations on campus they are only from designated
locations on campus.

Should someone enter your classroom purporting to represent any
campus group for the purpose of sales, please contact the Office of
Public Safety. Thank you.

Carl Aylman
Director of Student Life.
