Dear Colleagues:

Baruch College is scheduled to migrate from its local version of
Blackboard to one hosted by CUNY Central as soon as classes end in
December. Once the migration is completed faculty and students will
have access to a newer version of Blackboard, which includes features
that users have been requesting.

Blackboard will only be accessible through the CUNY portal at
http://www.cuny.edu. If you have not already registered to use the
portal, please take a few minutes to do so using the instructions cited
below. We want faculty and students to be comfortable with the portal
login process prior to the cutover in December. Also, if there is a
problem with your portal login, we want to address it as soon as
possible.

The following is a link to a two-minute online demonstration of how to
register for the portal along with a set of printable instructions. The
demonstration has audio narration, so please make sure that your PC
speakers are on.

The BCTC is holding training sessions on the new version of Blackboard,
including portal login. The workshop schedule is available at:

If you have questions, please contact the BCTC help desk at 646-312-1010.
