The Baruch College Affirmative Action Committee will sponsor seminars for faculty
on tenure and promotion on Friday, November 5, 2004, in the Vertical Campus 14th
Floor (Room 14-270).
The seminars will be conducted by experienced faculty who will share their
knowledge, experience and expertise with new and junior faculty. The seminars are
directed at the common issues facing all faculty as they navigate through the tenure
and promotion process. Although designed for new and junior faculty, all faculty are
cordially invited to attend.

Athletic Department to Host Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night on December 7
New York, NY (Tuesday, October 26, 2004) - The Baruch College Athletic
Department is sending out a special invitation to all faculty and staff for a special
evening of Baruch basketball, food, and free T-Shirts in the Athletic & Recreation
Center on Tuesday, December 7.
The Baruch College basketball doubleheader against CUNY rival John Jay College
tips off at 5:30 p.m. with the women's team in action first, followed by the men at 7:30
p.m.
Free food and drinks will be served and special t-shirts will be waiting at the door for
faculty & staff who come out and support our teams for these important games .
Two members of the faculty or staff will also receive the exclusive opportunity to sit
on the bench with the Baruch team for an up close view of exciting college
basketball action.
