There are several important items about Blackboard at CUNY that are
included in this message, please read closely:

COURSE AVAILABILITY:
Faculty must make their courses available by following :
CONTROL PANEL  > COURSE OPTIONS  > SETTINGS  > COURSE AVAILABILITY.  Until
this is set for yes, your students cannot access your course materials.

STUDENT ACCESS TO CUNY PORTAL PROBLEMS:
There are wide spread problems for students in accessing the CUNY portal
and consequently your course sites.  Most of these problems are related to
forgotten or duplicate CUNY portal accounts.  Students should contact the
Baruch College Helpdesk if they are having problems.  They may come to the
Helpdesk inside the 6th floor computing center in the Library Building or
call (646) 312-1010 or e-mail [log in to unmask]
If faculty or PhD students are having problems, they should contact Gary
Chinn at (646) 312-1039 or [log in to unmask]  Gary cannot assist
students at this time.

This service is only available by written request to

http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/bctc/blackboard/faculty/accounts.html before
making these requests for access for guest lecturers, TA’s, Grading
Assistants, Audits or other special circumstances.
