Join the Weissman Center for International Business on April 14, 2005 for the Mitsui
Lunchtime Forum "Building Global Luxury Brands." The event will take place in the
Vertical Campus, room 14-250 from 12:15-1:45pm.

The debut of the Lexus LS 400 was Toyota's first step into the global luxury market.
Two years later, it had overtaken Mercedes-Benz as the best-selling luxury import in
the U.S. How did Toyota come to dominate one of the most competitive markets in
the world? What does it take to build a global luxury brand? Chester Dawson,
former Tokyo correspondent and now international finance editor of BusinessWeek
and author of "Lexus: The Relentless Pursuit," shares the story of Lexus. Mr.
Dawson will be joined by Professor Andreas Grein, Baruch College.
