As of April 18, CUNY is requiring that all access to CUNYJES3 and CUNYVM
(aka. BOSS, UAPC, IFAP, CUPS) be done securely. To meet this requirement,
the BCTC is coordinating the installation of Hummingbird software for
current users of QWS3270 software.

How do I get the software?
If you are a current user of QWS3270, or have an older version of
Hummingbird, please complete the Hummingbird Installation Request Form at
http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/bctc/hummingbirdinstall.htm
Please submit this form as soon as possible so that we can coordinate
installation of the software with you by April 18.

Installation of Hummingbird software for users within SPA, WSAS and ZSB is
being handled by the tech coordinators. Installation for users in
administrative departments (Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, HR, etc)
is being handled by BCTC.

How long does the installation take?
The software installation will require about 15 minutes to complete.

Will I need training to use the Hummingbird software?
No. Your interaction with the mainframe applications will be the same as
before. The only difference is that you will select a different desktop
icon to begin your session.

If you have any questions about this, please contact the BCTC Help Desk at
646-312-1010.
