The Eighth Annual Teaching & Technology Conference will take place at the Vertical
Campus Conference Center (Lexington Ave. at 24th Street, 14th Floor) on April 15,
2005.
Prior conferences have been highly successful venues for exchange of the latest
information about academic technology. This year's keynote speaker will be
Charles Dziuban, who is Director of the Research Initiative for Teaching
Effectiveness at the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he teaches research
design and statistics. For the past 7 years he has directed the impact evaluation of
UCF’s distributed learning initiative, examining student and faculty outcomes as well
as gauging the impact of online courses on the university.
