By now many in the Baruch College community already are aware that
our colleague Eric Kloiber, Baruch College Sports Information
Director, died suddenly on January 13, 2003. Eric was just 35 years
old and worked tirelessly to promote BaruchÕs teams. (His efforts
contributed to increased daily coverage and a spate of wonderful
stories in the major media, including some of the great coverage for
the return of Baruch's basketball to its own home facilities after three
decades "away.") Eric joined Baruch last September, as part of the
new staff of the ARC, and in that short time he became a vital part of
the Baruch community. Our heart goes out to his family as well as to
all his friends and colleagues in ARC and the CUNYAC.

There will be a memorial service for  Eric Kloiber today,Thursday, Jan.
16, at 6:30 pm at the College of New Rochelle Chapel. You are most
