Baruch College Athletic Department Presents Deep Water Running

On Saturday, April 26th, from 4-6pm, Baruch College (located at 24th St. and
Lexington Ave.) will introduce a new water aerobics class called Deep Water
Running. Marathon runners use deep water running to improve their personal best
time, but it's a terrific cross-training workout for non-marathoners!

Accompanied by popular music, deep water running classes challenge your
"powerhouse" muscles with the water's resistance using various running exercises
the entire length and width of the 6-lane, 9-foot deep competition pool. We always
use flotation belts or water noodles and various other aquatic exercise equipment,
but no swimming ability is required.

Come and join the class that has all the members talking and getting rave reviews!
See for yourself - you really can sweat in the water!! Class members describe the
workout as "Intense, but fun." If you think water aerobics is too easy for you - try
again!

If you have difficulty doing high-impact cardio exercises, and are tired of sweating it
out on a machine, then try deep water running. Bring a lock, a towel and picture ID.
Class size is limited to 25 participants, so call (646-312-5060) to register. WHY
SWEAT? GET WET!!

Free admission to team and ARC members. Non-members class include with the
day pass for $ 10.00.
