Checks Reflecting Retroactive Pay & Adjusted
Salary Rates Will Be Issued In August

On August 22: instructional staff at all CUNY senior
colleges will be issued a single check that will include
retroactive pay AND the adjusted salary rate.

All full-time and part-time employees should receive these
checks in August as long as they do not have irregularities
in service, such as:
·   Going on leave
·   Going off payroll
·   Varying numbers of hours from week to week
·   Fluctuating pay rates

The retroactive back pay and adjusted salary rates for
employees with irregularities will be calculated by hand.
Some—but not all—of the calculations will be completed in
time to meet the August pay dates.

If you have questions about how your retroactive pay and
adjusted salary rates were calculated, your first step
should be a visit to the payroll office at your college.
They actually did the calculations.

If there is a problem, please contact your campus PSC
grievance counselor.

As we get more information, we will post additional updates.
