Dear Baruch Faculty,

The first day of classes is almost upon us, the perfect time to remind you about the
wonderful resource available to you: Executives On Campus. We have compiled a
list of over 200 executives in many varied fields who are eagerly available to serve
as guest lecturers in your classrooms.

For a partial list of past EOC lecturers and topics, see our web page at http://
www.baruch.cuny.edu/eoc.

I am already receiving requests for guest lecturers and would like to remind those of
you who haven’t yet sent me your requests that you should do so as soon as
possible. Just send me an email at the address below (please do not use the ‘reply’
feature to this e-mail as it won’t come to me). Your request should contain the
following information:

  1. The title of your class

 2. The topic that you would like covered during the lecture. (The goal for each visit
is to have the executive customize the presentation to cover the material that you
want discussed that day. The execs usually speak for a maximum of 20 minutes,
followed by a Q&A session. You could request that the exec provide handouts in
advance, and you can discuss with the students the material to be covered. You can
even ask the students to provide questions in advance, to ensure that important
material is covered.)

 3. The date, time, and location of the class

As soon as I receive your request, I will contact you and begin the process of
searching for the most appropriate speaker for you.

The feedback from students, faculty, and executives has been overwhelmingly
positive over the past two years of EOC programs, and I know I speak for everyone
involved in EOC in saying that we look forward to seeing old friends on faculty,
meeting new ones, and providing your classes with outstanding lecturers from the
world of business, government, nonprofits, and the arts and sciences.

Thank you.
