A number of Verizon Wireless and Nextel cell users, both within and
outside the College, have reported that they are unable to reach their
destination within the "646" area code.  Instead of reaching their
destination, callers get a message that their calls cannot be completed,
and to check the number....  This appears to be a random problem and has
been reported to both cell phone companies this morning.

This problem is not unique to Baruch cell phone users and must be
resolved by the various cell phone companies.  Hopefully, resolution
will take place shortly.
