Both full-time and adjunct faculty members are invited to attend training
sessions hosted by the Instructional Technology unit of the Baruch
Computing and Technology Center.
These hands on workshops will cover all aspects of the Blackboard system,
use of the Baruch College Smart Lecterns and an introduction to PowerPoint.
In addition, two Information Literacy Openhouses will be held. These
sessions will provide faculty with both Newman Library and Instructional
Technology specialists under one roof. Attendees will be able to access
all library services, learn about how to incorporate Information Literacy
concepts into their courses and how to use any of the technology services
or software available to faculty members.
Schedules are posted on the web at
http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/bcln/training_schedule.html and will be updated
frequently.
