Beginning this Friday, April 28, candidates who have been selected as
finalists in the provost search will begin to arrive on campus for
full-day interview programs. The campus visit will include an open forum,
where members of the Baruch community will have an opportunity to hear
each of the candidates and to ask questions of them. All members of the
Baruch College community are urged to attend the open forum meetings that
will aid us in selecting the next chief academic officer for the College.
The first open forum will take place on Friday, April 28, 3:00 – 4:30
p.m., Room 750 of the Newman Conference Center (151 East 25th Street).
The candidate will be Dr. Ramon A. Gutierrez of the University of
California at San Diego.
Additional candidates are expected to visit campus on Monday, May 1, and
Monday, May 8; each of these visits will also include an open forum,
scheduled to take place from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in Room 750 of the Newman
Conference Center. An email identifying these remaining candidates and
