New Restroom Signs on Campus

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:

Several weeks ago new signs stating that "Under the law, all individuals have the right to use this restroom consistent with their gender identity or expression" were installed outside all multiple occupancy restrooms on campus.

The signs are present in accordance with CUNY policy to inform the campus community and visitors that Baruch College is in compliance with the New York City Human Rights Law and other applicable laws regarding gender identity and restroom access. Most importantly, the signs are there to inform people of all gender identities that they are welcome here and will not face discrimination.
