Continuing the Conversation
Developing Baruch College’s Strategic Plan 2018‒23

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

I am pleased to announce the new webpage<https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=rs7Kd9fXrUWn7OaRRLd26g&ref_id=NDz4Le-20k2QeMAzQ4B7lg> dedicated to the development of the new strategic plan for 2018-23. On this webpage, members of the College community will be informed of the status of the planning process as well as upcoming planning activities. There is also a feedback<https://pmail.baruch.cuny.edu/PoliteMail/default.aspx?page=lav5ZM8w6kayQa8IaR5d6A&ref_id=NDz4Le-20k2QeMAzQ4B7lg> form that allows all members of the College community to share their ideas, suggestions, and comments regarding College priorities for the next five years.

Additionally, during November we will continue to convene a series of small focus groups, interviews, and town hall meetings led by our strategic plan consultants from Keeling & Associates.

Community Strategic Plan Activities for November


·        Idea Wall, Monday, Nov. 13, 3:30 to 6 pm

Second Floor Atrium, Newman Vertical Campus
The Idea Wall is a space for anyone in the campus community to write ideas, comments, and suggestions for the new strategic plan as well as respond to postings by others.


·        Strategic Planning Town Hall Meeting, Tuesday, Nov. 14, 12:30 to 1:30 pm
Newman Vertical Campus, Room 14-250

Share your ideas, suggestions, and comments regarding the College’s priorities over the next five years. The conversation that emerges will help shape the goals and objectives in the next strategic plan, which will be completed by the end of this academic year. An overview of the planning process will be provided. A light lunch will be served.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this important process as we work together to identify a new set of goals and aspirations for the College.
