Summer Sessions via Distance Learning

Dear Students,

Last week CUNY made a University-wide decision to keep summer sessions in the distance learning environment. Baruch will maintain our planned calendar to offer three robust summer sessions, on the following schedule:

*         Summer 1: June 8 - July 9

*         Summer 2: July 13 - August 13

*         Summer 3: June 8 - August 13

Please visit your CUNYfirst account to review course listings and to register. As always, we encourage you to speak to an academic advisor as you make plans for the coming summer and fall semesters.

Knowing that summer courses will be virtual gives us an opportunity to plan ahead and refine how we work in the distance learning environment. CUNY is continuously expanding the University's academic continuity website<https://www.cuny.edu/cuny-continuity/cuny-continuity-for-students/> which includes resources on time management, maintaining work-life balance, and taking care of your mental and physical health. These are all critical skills as we work to maintain academic momentum and success in an extended distance mode.

On behalf of Baruch College, I want to thank you for your flexibility and understanding during this era of uncertainty and constant change. Your resilience and commitment to your education are truly inspiring. We hope that you and your families are well.

Sincerely,

Dennis Slavin, PhD
Acting Provost
